Mary Breydon's life was in ruins. Her father and husband were both dead, the war had destroyed her family home and guerillas had robbed her of everything of value. So she headed west to make a new start and fill the job her husband had accepted before he died. Mary was determined to manage the stagecoach station to make her deceased husband proud and to carve out a future for her young daughter. Then, her past came back to haunt her for the man who had destroyed her home and murdered her husband showed up in Colorado. Mary knew she had to stop him but wasn't sure how.
