Torie O'Shea, New Kassel's town historian, is excited. Besides returning to work after the birth of son Matthew, her new step-father has bought the contents of the Finch Estate. Catherine Finch was a famous jazz singer in the '30s and lived in New Kassel. In addition to the estate, Torie is writing a biography of Finch. In her background work for the biography she becomes obsessed with stories about Catherine's kidnapped baby boy, which remained unsolved. When the skeleton of a baby is found in a nearby condemned building, two days after another body was found, Torie is convinced they've found the body of Byron Finch and that the deaths are somehow linked. | ||
