Book Review By Linda Napikoski
Apprentice to the Flower Poet Z by Debra Weinstein

Annabelle is an undergraduate poet in big bad New York City who lands a coveted internship as apprentice to the poet called 'Z' - but is Annabelle's mentor going to help her or destroy her? Witty observations and poetic allusions pepper this work as Annabelle runs Z's errands, does Z's research, and contributes to Z's poetry projects, while trying to develop her own poetic/romantic self. Yet, she can't keep all of Z's secrets of extramarital affairs and backstabbing when it costs her her own integrity.
