| Just after the end of WWII, Claire Randell and her husband, Frank, go on a second honeymoon to Scotland, as they have been separated by the war for most of their marriage. While at a circle of standing stones (like stonehenge) Claire leans against a stone and is transported in 18th century Scotland, where she is forced to marry Jamie Fraser, a young scotsman. She attempts to get back home, but over the couse of several adventures, she falls in love with Jamie, and must decide if she truely wants to return to her own time. | ||
