Book Review By Melissa Cookson
To Tame a Highland Warrior by Karen Marie Moning

Gavrael McIllioch, who goes by Grimm for most of the book, is a Scottish Berserker, with amazing abilities that allow him to survive just about anything. At a young age, devasted after a battle in his village, he left and met Jillian, who he grew to love. Because he is a Berserker, he doesn't consider himself to be worthy of her, and so he never told her how he felt. Years later, Jillian's father is concerned that she will never marry (she tells all her suitors she's going to live in a cloister). Her father arranges to have three handsome and brawny men staying at his castle while he and his wife are away, in the hope that Jillian will fall in love with one of them and consent to marry. One of those men is Grimm. Unfortunately, not everything is rosy about this situation, and Grimm has to deal with attempts on his life that also put those he cares for in danger. The McKane clan has vowed to kill all Berserkers, and they will let nothing stand in their way.
