Book Review By Lucy Johnson
Showdown at Yellow Butte by Louis L'Amour

Tom Kendrick had been hired to run a bunch of squatters off of land that Alton Burwick was fixing to buy from the government. But things are not as they seem. The squatters turn out to be hard working family men and Burwick is starting to surround himself with cutthroat gunmen and thieves. Kendrick decides he must do something to see justice done and to help the beautiful Connie Duane out of a mess in the process. This will prove harder than it seems as Kendrick must get the squatters to trust him while staying one step ahead of Burwick and his ruthless sharp shooters.
