Book Review By Melissa Cookson
The Dark Highlander by Karen Marie Moning

Dageus MacKeltar is a Scottish druid who has become cursed. He has the souls of thirteen evil druids inside him, and they're slowly starting to corrupt him. The only thing that helps him push back the darkness is sex. Chloe Zanders goes to Dageus in order to bring him an ancient text and ends up trapped in his home when she discovers that he's been stealing other texts.

Dageus wants to find some information, somewhere, that can help him break his curse. Dageus and Chloe are instantly attracted to one another, but Chloe resists him. When he decides to go to Scotland to search for more texts, Chloe comes with him, drawn by his promise of ancient artifacts. There are dangers, though, because of a group of evil druids who are chasing Dageus, and they have no problems with hurting Chloe if it will help them get him. In Dageus' rush to figure out how to break the curse, he travels back in time with Chloe, to the time and place he was born, 16th century Scotland.
