Book Review By Jennifer Selk
The Sky Is Falling by Kit Pearson

In the summer of 1940, two English children - ten year old Norah Sykes and her five year old brother Gavin - are sent to live with a family in Toronto, Canada to escape the danger of the Second World War. Living as “guests of war”, Norah and Gavin face culture shock and homesickness as they try to become accustomed to their new Canadian life. This is the first of the “Guests of War” trilogy.
