| Jared Burkett leaves his native Hawaii for Boston to exact revenge on the man he believes responsible for his broken-hearted mother's suicide. Unable to ruin him financially he weds his daughter, Corinne, after raping her, and leaves her publically humilitaed and pregnant. Corinne pursues Jared back to Hawaii to avenge her injust treatment, by pretending to be promiscuous to humiliate Jared on his own home turf, but finds herself pregnant. She gives birth in secrecy and passes her son off as that of her maid when Jared finds her and imprisons her to stop her "whorish ways".
