Anna, a first year high school student is determined to avoid being a nobody. In her bid for popularity, she and her friends start a slam book – a book where students can write comments about each other anonymously. Anna fills the book with the names of her fellow students and people start writing what they really think about each other. Suddenly Anna and her friends are the center of attention – everyone wants to read what's written in their books.
But when the comments start getting cruel and out of hand, things take a turn for the worse. People are taking the slam book too seriously. And when one outcast girl is inspired to take drastic measures after reading what was written about her, Anna must face her guilt and responsibility for truly hurting another student… all in the name of being popular. | ||
