Book Review By Steph
Say Goodnight, Gracie by Yvonne Jocks

Grace is one of three sisters named after the Three Graces. Unfortunately, Grace does not exactly embody the virtue she was named after. In fact, she is notoriously clumsy and accident-prone. So much so that when miner Jon Erikson visits, Grace manages to fall over the stairway railing and right on top of Jon, breaking his leg. Jon must convalesce at Grace's family home, and thus the romance begins. Help comes from a well-hidden "fairy godmother" for Grace, who is actually one of the original Three Graces, herself.

Grace feels she is too awkward to ever attract a man, and Jon, although he is growing fonder and fonder of sweet-hearted Grace, has a burning desire to strike it rich. Other complications include a small, "stowaway" orphan boy who has been hiding out in Jon's room, and Grace's nouveau-riche mother, who certainly does not want her youngest daughter married to a poor miner.
