It's a Vampire Thing by Dakota Cassidy

Claire Treemont leads a normal, quiet life where nothing particularly exciting ever happens. Claire is a county coroner, going about her job like usual, when she encounters the gorgeous Zachariah Kowalski. Unfortunately for Claire, the gorgeous Zachariah is stretched out on her operating table, waiting for her to determine the cause of death. This doesn't mean that she can't appreciate what used to be prime male flesh, however, and she gives him a good once over before starting to record his vital statistics. Unable to shake the feeling that she is being watched, she turns back to Zachariah's body only to discover that he is awake and looking right at her. This is creepy enough, but then Zachariah starts speaking mind to mind and he calls her by name! How can a man she never met know who she is? What is worse is she finds herself responding to him on a very basic level and find herself having wild, primal sex in her office – where he collapses unconscious on top of her after bringing her to mind-blowing orgasm. Turns out the lovely Zachariah is also a narcoleptic (a person who falls asleep at weird moments). Claire doesn't stop to question what is going on – she just flees to her home to start her long-overdue vacation. But Zachariah isn't about to let Claire go because he knows that Claire is the latest reincarnation of his love that he has searched for and found through the ages. For Zachariah is a vampire and, though he has lost his true love time and time again, this time he is determined to do whatever it takes to keep Claire alive...
