| In a famine-stricken world, the people of Tipple's Eve
live under the tyranny of Kon Longstorm, a man who controls not only all the food in the Valley, but the very lives of the people. Kon also dominates the Monachi, a people he has imprisoned inside the caverns of Mount Tipple Rod. After Troy Warfork's closest friend accidentally drowns in Blue Diamond Lake, Troy dives into a massive whirlpool to kill himself. But instead of dying, Troy discovers an escape route from the Valley and from Kon's control.
