Book Review By Maureen Collier
Blood Work by Michael Connelly

Retired FBI agent Terril McCaleb is recovering from a heart transplant. He believes that the donor was killed in an robbery. The donor's sister approaches him to investigate what really happened to her sister. He learns that her death was anything but random. He picks up on a series of clues that, surprisingly, the LAPD had missed. The more he learns, the more he realizes, that he fits the killer's profile that he has put together. He now not only has to find the true killer, but clear his own name as well.
