Anne Frank: the diary of a young girl by Anne Frank

Anne Frank feels lonely and out of place, like her family does not love her, these feelings intensify when she and her family are forced to go into hiding, so they don't end up in a concentration camp during the holocaust. Being hidden in a secret annex serves both to pull the family apart, and eventually draw them closer together.   For two years they were locked up in the secret annex, for two years they were safe, but they were found and eventually killed, all but Otto Frank. The journal stops a matter of days before they are discovered.
