Forrest Tales: The Secret of the Labyrinth by C.J. Lewis

Edward Forrest is forced to survive after being abandoned by his family. He embarks on a hunt for treasure that takes him far from his home in the common World where he finds a new home at the Academy of the Oracle. Peer pressure is strong as he and his friends are drawn into the circle of The Skobi, a club organized by a fellow classmate named Wyndel. As the school year passes, the evil that lurks outside the walls of the Academy press in ever closer. Edward must make some dangerous choices.
