To Catch a Countess by Patricia Grasso

High-spirited Victoria Douglas is shocked to discover that she has been betrothed to Alexander Emerson, the Earl of Winchester and the son of the man who impoverished her family, for over a year. Just the day before, she had decided to practice her flirting skills on the handsome lord.

Throughout the story, Victoria struggles to exemplify a lady worthy of the Earl of Winchester before the eyes of the ton. She valiantly presents herself to society while trying to hide her dyslexia, which proves to be the cause of her humiliation before the ton many times.

Alexander is guilt-ridden at what his father did to the Douglas family and agrees to the betrothal proposed by Victoria's uncle. He finds himself absolutely enticed by his young bride and sets out immediately to tame her wild spirit. Sparks fly and the two become captivated with each other.

But when he believes Victoria has betrayed him, will his love for her prove strong enough? And will Victoria bare her secret before all of London to get her husband back?
