She publishes it in her newpaper column and gets a lot of feedback. In this feedback she recieves another letter from Garrett to Catherine and she decides to find Garrett. She goes down to Wilmington, NC and meets an amazing man. Garrett and Theresa fall in love but Garrett is still in love with Catherine, his deceased wife.
