Book Review By Michael Jung
Anything Can Happen in High School (and It Usually Does) by William D. McCants

After his shallow girlfriend Janet dumps him for the student body president, T.J. Durant forms The Radical Wave, a school service club, to get her attention and win her back. Amazingly, the club becomes a major hit, thanks to T.J.'s beautiful friend Vivian, who inspires T.J. to expose the incompetence of the student council. The club's popularity attracts Janet, who decides T.J. is a better status symbol than her current boyfriend. But as his ex-girlfriend flirts with him, T.J. discovers he has developed strong feelings for Vivian and begins wondering who he really wants.
