Bird Girl has come of age to marry, but she is rebellious and not of a traditional mindset. She hunts as well as a man, and speaks boldly like one too. To not follow the traditions of her tribe, means that she must leave and fend for herself in the Alaskan wilderness. So, she leaves and follows Daagoo to find the Land of the Sun. They encounter many dangers in the wilderness and face many trials. Ultimately, they each realize they must return home if they are to survive. | ||
