Book Review By Jerry Naradzay
Rogue Warrior : Red Cell by RIchard Marcinko

Richard Marcinko is a retired Navy Seal who is working as a counter-terrorism consultant. He is involuntarily recalled to active duty to command Red Cell, a band of hard edged Navy Seals. Their mission is to test the counterterrorism capabilities of US government installations. They stumble upon a plot to steal nuclear weapons that involves some of the highest echelons in the Defense Dept.

They quickly move from the East coast to California to the Asian theater doing double duty as counterterrorism consultants and counterterrorism investigators. Marcinko is a "no prisoners" action hero who quickly becomes persona-non-grata with the Feds, Navy, and Defense dept because he starts leaving too many tango bodies behind during his investigation.

Marcinko uses chronological narrative to keep the pace moving. He also uses flashbacks to describe important characters in his life, his "sea-daddys" and fellow SEALS who helped sharpen his sense of duty.
