Book Review By Kayelle Allen
At the Mercy of Her Pleasure by Kayelle Allen

The Tarthian Empire is filled with rogues, pirates, thieves and rebels. It's home to many human races and several non-human ones. The Imperial Armada enforces the rule of the Conqueror Rheyn Destoiya with an iron fist. Yet the All People's Liberation Army is making headway in fostering a rebellion.

Rebel Captain NarrAy Jorlan of the APLA hires professional thief Senth Antonello to steal back a locket stolen from her scientist parents. It holds the key to finalizing a prototype device.

When Senth nabs it, the evil Conqueror kidnaps Senth's brother and holds him hostage to force its return. NarrAy's duty is to take the locket to the rebel leaders, but she's fallen in love with Senth and can't allow him to lose the brother he just discovered he had.
