Jesse Copeland is a neurosurgeon at Eastern Massachusetts Medical Center in Boston. She has been experimenting with a surgical robot that is used to eradicate brain tumors. An evil terrorist shows up at the hospital demanding the new robot be used on what he was told was an inoperable fatal tumor. If she does not submit to his demands he will release a deadly gas throughout the city. He kills four people in a lab with the gas just to demonstrate he is serious. How can Jesse operate on a killer? But she must in order to save innocent lives.
