Book Review By Chris Sandstedt
Warhorse by Timothy Zahn

Humanity thought they were the only technology users in the galaxy, until they encountered the Tampies, the self appointed guardians of all life. Tampies also controlled living spaceships which were better and faster than anything Humanity had; In controlling these "Warhorses" they also controlled human economic and colonization interests. Because of this control, animosity and prejudice grew between the Tampies and Humans, almost to the point of hostilities. The Human and Tampie governments embark on a joint scientific expedition in an effort to better understand each other and to avoid a costly and devistating war, and for one human, perhaps to uncover the secret of controllng the Warhorses.
