Book Review By Michael Jung
I Want To Go Home! by Gordon Korman

No one hates summer camp as much as Rudy Miller does! That's why when his parents send him to Camp Algonkian Island, Rudy vows to use every dirty trick to escape "Camp Alcatraz." With the aid of fellow camp-hater Mike Webster, Rudy builds a dam to flood the camp, starts a pillow fight that destroys his cabin, and even steals a boat to flee the island. But every time Rudy runs away, his counselors drag him back.

Then the camp counselors discover something unusual about Rudy. He can play any sport -- from baseball to hockey to tennis -- perfectly. Suddenly Rudy becomes the best chance Camp Algonkian has at beating all the other camps at their championship matches. Unfortunately Rudy refuses to participate -- until he discovers playing camp sports gives him great opportunities for more escape attempts! What happens next makes Rudy the biggest hero and worst troublemaker Camp Algonkian Island has ever seen.
