Stephen Hathorne is a 19th century naval Lieutenant who is shipwrecked on the Florida coast, meets up with some local natives, goes to St. Augustine with them and travels to a spring deep in the Florida wilderness to find some old guy living there. Turns out he knows the guy who sends him on a time traveling journey to the future where he meets his future wife and they have to stop a madman from the near future from coming back and destroying history. They get married and have a son. Guess who the son is? Well, anyway, the spring is eluded to being the "Fountain of Youth" and an explanation is offered (a sci-fi one of course!). | ||
