Book Review By Amber Frangos
The Butterfly Net by Amber Frangos

Petal Loma is abducted through the Internet by a pedophile who poses as another child. Kristen Thomas, the career driven tabloid-television reporter, arrives in the small town of Greenville to cover the story and propel her career. The local police fail to provide a viable suspect, and Kristen is at a loss for a story. At the news conference, she sees a young child similar to the missing child. She decides to cover the story "through the eyes of a child". Angela Paragon gives her opinion of the abduction to television viewers nightly. This added exposure catapults her into national fame, and also into the line of vision of the pedophile. He approaches her through the same chatroom he abducted Petal Loma.
