Book Review By Joe Wolfe
Time Ocular by Joe Wolfe

Archeologists discover a machine buried thousands of years ago that has the ability to display the past.
A struggle ensues between governments who wish to acquire the machine and the scientists who found it.
During the course of the story it's learned that the machine found its way to Earth when a great comet slammed into Jupiter, tearing a large piece from the planet and sending it into a new orbit between Mercury and the Earth, creating the newest planet, Venus.
When the newly formed planet passed the orbit of Mars, debris from its wake caused severe damage, rendering the planet inhabitable and making it necessary for survivors to find haven on Earth and the moons of Jupiter and Saturn.
The machine was brought here to Earth many thousands of years ago, and was one of several hiden in various locations on the planet.
It has to ability, when calibrated correctly, to see anything that ever occured, as if events were happening right now.
