| Stephan, Jake, and Darnell are best friends. They are very successful and live productive lives. Darnell has a wife while his buddies remain single. Stephan is constantly moving from one woman to another while trying to make each one feel as if she were the only one.
Chante, Karen, and Tammy are best friends as well. Chante has been heartbroken many times and is determined not to be involved again, that is, until she runs into Stephan at the club. Eventually, Stephan's lifestyle begins to catch up with him. The women that he dates begin to become more demanding of his time. One by one, his lies start to catch up with him. The women that he have lied to and cheated on all begin to leave him. Stephan knows that eventually he will be all alone if he doesn't change his ways. Darnell, a lawyer, wants to pursue a writing career. His wife, Dawn, however, wants him to continue practicing law. Her only thoughts are of having children. Darnell soon meets a woman who appears to understand him. Darnell must make some choices about his marriage. Stephan must decide what kind of relationship, and with whom, he would like to have.
