Tallie's Knight by Anne Gracie

Tallie Robinson is a poor relation ignored by her cousin and left to look after the children. Magnus, Earl of D'Arenville, decides to marry in order to have children of his own. He gets his cousin to host a party and invite eligible women for him to consider. He thought he was not choosy, but he does not like any of the women until he notice Tallie. She likes children and he figures since she is plain and poor, she will not mind if he ignores her after they are married.

Tallie decides she has no choice but marry Magnus after she is thrown out of her cousin's house, but she is not happy about Magnus' arrogance. During their honeymoon which takes them from Paris to Italy, she begins to show Magnus that she is not someone he can ignore. Tallie warms Magnus' heart and he discovers he wants to be loved by her. Through the new experiences of travel, Tallie discovers that Magnus is the knight she has always day dreamed about.
