Book Review By Vanessa
Mortal Prey by John Sandford

Lucas teams up with FBI agents to track down Clara Rinker, a retired assassin, who summarily dishes out revenge to those responsible for killing her child and lover. Lucas has a somewhat personal interest in this one because he actually has seen and danced with this nearly invisible assassin.
Several minor plots are flowing throughout. Lucas and Weather are building a house, having a baby, and planning a wedding. Lucas notices that a "could be" romance is developing between two of the agents he is working with. He tries to give the romance a gentle shove by offering a little "advice."
