Blue Dahlia by Nora Roberts

Stella is a young woman and mother of two boys who is still reeling from the death of her husband. She moves from Michigan to Memphis to be closer to her family and to work as a nursery manager for Roz Harper. She moves into Roz's mansion with her two sons and begins reorganizing Roz's business.

She butts heads with the landscaper, Logan, but annoyance soons turns to attraction and she finds herself embroiled in a wild romance. To make things better, Logan is great with her children. There is only one problem, a ghost who doesn't want them together.

Stella thinks she's losing her mind when she sees a ghost singing to her children. However she soon learns that Roz, all the boys who used to live in the house, and Hayley, a young pregnant cousin of Roz's who comes to live with them, have all seen the ghost. The only problem is the ghost is now hostile to Logan and Stella. Can they overcome their difficulties and avoid a dangerous, meddlesome ghost?
