Sydney Hayward took over her grandfather's company after his death. She's coming from a broken marriage that was practically arranged, and she's bitter and cold.
Mikhail Stanislaki is an artist who lives in a rundown building Sydney owns. When he comes to demand that the building be fixed, he is startled by her beauty, but doesn't think she'll do anything about his living conditions. He is surprised when she takes care of everything personally. They begin a wild romance as she asserts herself as the head of her company. Together they deal with mutinous employees and in her case, rude family members. Sydney wants a family, but she doesn't know if she can handle it. Will Mikhail, who is from a close knit immigrant family, be able to accept Sydney as she is and wait for her to open all the way up? | ||
