Colonel Joe Mackenzie is working on developing a new fighter jet for the Air Force. When one of the team members has a heart attack, Caroline Evans replaces him. The attraction is immediate, but Caroline is unnerved because she has never even had a real date.

Joe finds himself falling for Caroline, and after their first time she knows she in in love with him. But after Caroline is accused of trying to sabotage the project, Joe doesn't seem to trust her, and she is crushed. Caroline knows she has been framed, but in her efforts to try to catch the real culprit, both she and Joe are kidnapped. Will they make it out of the desert and find a way to mend the hurt between them?
