Songs of Distant Earth by Arthur C. Clarke

A ship full of refugees fron the exploding solar system arrives at a small isolated colony world, where they proceed to not do much of anything except for get laid by promiscuous natives and pontificate incessantly about religion and philosophy. The characters are hard to care for and theres no real plot. This one is only for die-hard Clarke fans.
