| Ryan Swan takes over a project for her father. She needs to get Pierce Atkins, a famous magician, to sign on to do a TV special. He agrees, but only if she is in charge. They fall in love and have a passionate affair while she earns her father's respect in the TV industry.
The only real problem is that Pierce wants to do a death defying escape to prove something to himself. Ryan does her best to convience him that if he loves her, he won't risk his life for a three minute escape, but he refuses to listen to her.
