The Right Path by Nora Roberts

Morgan never takes vacations, but she ends up in Greece visiting a friend for a month. On her first night she goes out to the beach and is held at knife point by a man, but all he does is kiss her. She is furious, especially when he shows up in her room the next night knowing everything about her.

Morgan later learns the man is Nicholas Gregoras, a wealthy Greek she suspects has smuggled drugs from Turkey into Greece. When a man is murdered, Morgan doesn't suspect him, but she does blame him. They begin an affair after Nick tells her that he used to smuggle but now he is working on breaking up the ring, and he suspects she might be in danger.
