The Chase by Lyndsay Sands

   Seonaid Dunbar, a scottish woman warrior, is betrothed to Blake Sherwell, an english nobleman known as "the angel" at court for his charming wit and good looks. The betrothal was made when they were children, was almost instantly regretted when their respective fathers argued and never made up. The betrothal could not be broken without forfeiting land on either side, so years later when Seonaid's fiance finally annouced his intention of marrying, seven years after he was supposed to, she decides to escape to a local convent for sanctuary.
   Blake, who had reluctantly come to collect his bride, is annoyed when he arrives to find his bride has fled, especially when his future father in law informs him he must fetch her back or forfeit all. Seonaid, who had been residing at the convent for two weeks with her cousin, decides to go on a quest to help Lady Helen return to her father from her fiance who his trying to kill her. The three women start the men on a merry chase, and while Blake is irritated he must marry, he cannot help but become infactuated with the woman warrior, especially after he sees her battle Lady Helen's enemies in the nude!
   When the two finally tie the knot, they must still battle hidden enemies that follow them to Blake's home. The two also reluctantly realize that their marriage may be more than just arranged, it may be based on love.
