In keeping with her family tradition, Sibyl tried desperately to be fanciful and romantic, in contrast with her own true personality. Her attempts at romance and adventure caused Tarquin both embarrasment and physical injury. However, Sibyl has since learned to embrace her true, sensible nature. Now, she must convince Tarquin that she has changed from the accident-prone girl she once was, although she is still in love with him.
