| Plot Summary of Poppy and Rye |
"Poppy and Rye is about a mouse named Poppy whose boyfriend named Ragweed died. She travels to his family and let them know. As she is about to leave, a most unfortunate problem occurs for the family of Ragweed. Some beavers moved in and created a dam in a nearby river. This caused flooding for Ragweed's family's home. Poppy is the only one with enough sense to help them. But will she be able to convince the beavers to leave?"
