"Palm trees. Brenna can't believe she's really seeing palm trees! Dr. Mac has brought Brenna, Maggie, and Zoe to Florida to visit her friend Gretchen, a marine biologist. She runs a manatee rescue center that is in desperate need of money. Who will save these beautiful creatures if the center shuts down? Brenna wants to do something to help. But all she's done so far is make Dr. Mac mad at her. She guesses jumping into canals isn't what Dr. Mac had in mind when she invited her down here. But there has to be something she can do-- the manatees are dying. "
