Miss Know It All and the Wishing Lamp |
One October day at the Good Day Home for Girls, orphans Tatty, Phoebe, Mary and Little Ann help one of their housemothers clean out her closet. During the cleaning, they find an old brass lamp that Miss Lavender allows them to keep. Miss Lavender tells them the brass lamp is really a wishing lamp she ordered from a magazine when she was a girl.
