| Plot Summary of Live Laugh and Love: The Golden Moments of Life |
"Albert Diggs has just been presented with a career building challenge – save the failing Miami office. It's a sure fire way to impress the Board of Directors at his company. But, since he and his fiancée live in Orlando and since the company is not offering any financial assistance with the relocation; he's forced to seek out a rent-free way to live in Miami for up to one year. With the help of his family he decides to accept his grandfather's (Joseph Lawrence Thomas IV) offer to live with him in Liberty City.
He arrives thinking that the coming year will be long, tiresome, and boring; believing that his grandfather is nothing more than a frail old man who needs medicated rubs and lots of quiet. He is pleasantly surprised to discover that he is wrong. As it turns out, his grandfather is full of common business sense advice and he even helps him set a clever trap to try and flush out the true villains behind the demise of the Miami office.
During his stay, Albert also learns that his grandfather has a hilarious action filled life, as he (Albert) helps him deal with several comical adventures: a surprise birthday party, taking one of his four women's dog to the vet, and discovering a long lost note from his parent's.
Albert also sees that his grandfather is a devoted family man, as he: attempts to set a wayward cousin back onto the path of responsible fatherhood, bites his tongue with his over concerned children, and advices him (Albert) about family life in general.
At the same time, Albert sees that his grandfather has a humorous man as he finds a way to add a little humor to every story and feeds him one side breaking joke after another.
And, he sees first hand that his grandfather's neighborhood is full of wildly entertaining action: from the poor pimps and their wives, to the sex crazed elderly neighbor who's determined to have her way with the well endowed local drunk, to his gang of pals and buddies who he hangs out on the corner with.
