I just finished reading Double Shot and loved it but I was wondering what happened to the new puppie Latte. Did I miss something at the end of Chopping Spree?

In regards to the post by Mary Garrison, Joanne Fluke published the first book in her series a full two years before Davidson started her series so she did not copy Davidson's work.

I always thought her cooking mysteries were like dessert - quick and sweet and fun. Also liked Fluke, Claudia Bishop and Lou Jane Temple.

I absolutely love all of Ms. Davidson's books! I will re-read them as I run out of the series and look forward with great anticipation to her next great mystery. The plots are always fresh and new, the characters well-built and the suspense accelerates to the final conclusion in each story. She writes these stories so well; we are pulled into their unfolding drama as though we too are living in the stories.

I enjoy all of Davidson's and Fluck's books. I would like longer story lines, written more often. I am out something to read.

i adore the whole series, have baked/cooked alot of the recipes and would love to get to know goldy's parents/siblings. it definately takes on an air of fiction (at least where i come from) to be so disconnected from background prior marriage- diane describes in wonderful detail goldy's life now, i am really curious about her childhood and other relatives and would love to meet them in the next book. anyone else too?

I just started reading a book titled Cream Puff Murder (Joanne Fluke)thought it was one of Diane's. What a copy cat. Lead bakes cookies, brother in law is a sheriff. Receipts included.
Anyone know if there is a law suit, doesn't seem right to copy like that
