This is par for the course for him. No surprise. If we are fortunate, at some point, there will be another book.

Yeah, I don't know waht's going on, but I've heard for 25 years "I'll be writing and/or publishing real soon! Really! Just hang in there, guys and books will soon flow like water." I hope Mr Palmer doesn't become like J.D. Salinger or Harper Lee, publishes one or two books, then becomes a recluse.

I just tried the e-mail address I've used to correspond with him, and that account has apparently been deactivated. Very curious!

OK, the last message on this forum having to do with Mr Palmer or his writings (or any news of ANY kind about any novels, writings, etc.), was posted in 2008. It's now (as I write this), Aug. 15 2012. Wormhole Press is apparently defunct, and the URL has been sold.
David Palmer is cannot be found, does not respond to email or telephone inquiries, and cannot be contacted by interested and/or concerned media representatives. At least he isn't dead... (I know, I checked).
So what is going on? are you out there David? Are you (not to put too fine a point on it),um, "incarcerated"? Incapacitated? Incognito? Non compos Mentis? Please come back, all is forgiven.

One would wish. However we may enjoy Mr. Palmer's work, he cannot be said to be prolific. So we may well wait a while.

Since econmic downturn is just about over I'm hoping to see Mr Palmer publish more of his excellent work.

Sorry if this comes out as a double post. Just posting to see if anyone's heard anything new. David hasn't posted at Analog's site in quite a while, and there appears to be no progress being made on either his site or Wormhole's. Has anyone heard anything?

I assume you mean analogsf.com.
Dave posts occasionally. Most of his posts have been in the "Discuss the magazine" section. You do have to sign up for a user ID to post on the forum. This forum won't let me post whole links so they are segmented below, and I needed to leave the slash off the first line of each.

Let's see if this link will get you to his user's profile ...

To Tom Ligon or any other knowledgeable person: When I visit AnalogSP.com,I can only get into the general forum, I can't find David R. Palmer. How do I specifically get to the forum used exclusively by David R. Palmer? I would really appreciate some guidance. Thank you.
