During a trip to a local football match, Robbie is caught up in a surging crowd and suffers a serious head injury. After his near-death experience Robbie believes he has the power to heal and aims to cure those who need his help.
When he is sent away to a children's hospital he finds he has a great opportunity to test his 'gift' and his lovable and caring character earn him a great many friends.
Upon his return from hospital Robbie's powers are put to the ultimate test when he discovers his father in bed suffering from cancer.
Written with humour, this is the heart-warming story of life as seen through the eyes of a lively and very entertaining Irish school boy.
