Mike Daisey writes a personal account of how his life as a self-avowed slacker is dramatically altered during and after his three year stint with start up Wall Street darling Amazon.com. Mr Daisey's experience is often hillarious, sometimes surreal and always entertaining.

Throughout the book, Mr Daisey authors touching, quirky, bizzarre, abstract e-mails to Jeff Bezos, the founder of Amazon.com. Over a period of three years, Mr Daisey manages to succeed and advance through no real effort of his own. The book is equal parts comedy, a How To Succeed In Business Without Really Trying guide, and a cautionary tale of the public's fascination with internet start up companies.
