President Kennedy was shot in the back of the neck with a bullet fired from a .22 caliber weapon. A second shot, fired from a 7.65 Mauser missed the Predident and struck Governor Connally. Both these shots were fired from the 5th and not the 6th floor of the Texas School Book Depository Building. The third and fatal shot, which struck the President on the right side of the head, was fired by Mrs. Jacqueline Kennedy. (She held the weapon in her left hand.)
