At Midnight Book Summary and Study Guide

Detailed plot synopsis reviews of At Midnight

Trish McAllister is a journalist, chasing a suspected killer, when she takes shelter in an old, abandoned hotel. She suddenly finds herself back in 1892, where she meets Jared Yates, a Pinkerton detective. It seems Jared is chasing the same killer she is. Evidently she isn't the only time traveler involved here. She is obsessed with making it big as a journalist to show her father, who has never claimed her, that she is as good as he is. Before long she will have to decide which is more important to her, the rivalry with her father or her love for Jared.
