When Nardi meets Hannah, all he wants is ether and to take Hannah to bed. Hannah tries to avoid going to bed with Nardi, but befriends the handsome charmer. Nardi's passion for Hannah develops beyond lust as he recognizes a fellow lover of beauty. Hannah's love helps heal Nardi's physical and emotional ills. But meanwhile, Nardi's family has arranged a marriage for him to a wealthy heiress.
